"This week in EMS: I helped save a ladies life and I made a sick child laugh hysterically. I responded to an overdose Pt that would've died if his father didn't call 911 and I was verbally abused by a complete stranger. Tonight, I fought to save the life of a pedestrian that got hit by a car in the dark. I went home early because my hands were shaking and my knees were weak. I feel absolutely spent. No one ever said this job was easy, but holy shit it can be demanding at times." ~ Rachael "This week in EMS: I helped save a ladies life and I made a sick child laugh hysterically.
