Is this approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing?
Yes. All courses are approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN Provider #CEP18103).
Does this bundle satisfy the BRN's Implicit Bias CE requirement?
No. The BRN's implicit bias requirement must be completed through a dedicated, approved training outside this bundle. Each of the three courses here addresses implicit bias as it applies to trauma care (patient assessment, clinical decision-making, triage), but that content does not fulfill the standalone requirement. You will need to complete that separately.
How many CE hours are included?
This bundle includes 30 California BRN-approved CE hours across three focused trauma courses.
Is this bundle my complete CE requirement for renewal?
This bundle was built around the hours California actually requires — not a national catalogfiltered by state.
I'm renewing for the first time after passing the NCLEX. Does this apply to me?
Yes. California does not waive CE for first-time renewers. You still need 30 BRN-approved CE contact hours, including implicit bias training. This bundle covers both. If your initial license date affects your proration window, check rn.ca.gov for your exact requirement before purchasing.
Do I need to watch every video?
Course materials are self-paced. Completing the evaluation and attestation is what generates your CE certificate.

What do I do with my certificate if the BRN audits me?
Keep your certificate of completion on file. California BRN does not require you to submit CE records at renewal — you self-certify. If you're selected for an audit, you present your certificates directly to the BRN. There is no third-party reporting system for California RNs. Your Confident Nurse certificate shows Provider #CEP18103, the course name, contact hours, and your completion date. That's what auditors look for.

Is this the same as TNCC?
No. TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) is a clinical certification offered by the Emergency Nurses Association. It does not satisfy BRN CE requirements for license renewal.
